The hotel is located in a safe neighborhood, right in the heart of the historic center. It is close to Plaza Novios where you can find a variety of restaurants to choose from. the staff is friendly and helpful, offering free tea/coffee upon check, in. the rooms are comfortable and clean, with big beds and air, conditioning. the bathroom facilities are well, maintained. there is a rooftop area with hammocks and a pool, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
One negative aspect is that the hotel sign with the name is covered in plants, making it difficult to find at first.

We had a great stay at this little hotel right in the center of town. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the bustling plaza where all the restaurants are located. the room was small but cozy, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. the staff was friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. the breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. We also enjoyed the rooftop hammocks, a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view of the city.
That the hotel was a couple blocks away from the busier areas, so walking back at night felt slightly less safe.

Hotel Calle Santodomingo was definitely worth the money, with clean and comfortable rooms equipped with powerful fans and AC. The location was great, as it was safe and close to the beach and tourist areas. The staff was very professional, polite, and provided the best service we experienced during our stay in Colombia.
Though the breakfast was delicious, it would have been even better if there were more options available.

The hotel had a gorgeous rooftop area with hammocks where I could relax and enjoy the breathtaking views. The location was perfect, situated on a quiet street in the heart of the city, making it easy for me to explore the historic area and visit all the amazing sidewalk cafes. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from, including local specialties. It was definitely the best value I've had in South America!
There really wasn't anything I disliked about this hotel. The only small inconvenience was that it was located a couple of blocks away from the historic part of the city.

The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed, from storing our bags to printing our boarding passes. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a clean and comfortable room. The rooftop pool and hammocks offered stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere.- The location of the hotel was ideal, situated on a peaceful street in the old town. It was close enough to easily walk to the center of town but far enough away to avoid the noise and traffic.
That there was no hot water in the shower. However, considering the hot climate of Santa Marta, a refreshing cold shower was actually quite nice after a long day of exploring.
